Starting from the front at Swanage this 32km challenge heads west along the spectacular Jurassic Coast passing small farming communities, walking on towering cliff edges as well as private coves busy with holiday makers and finally through the gunnery ranges and the abandon hamlet of Tyneham to the stunning Lulworth Cove and all in time for an Ice cream.

For a different look on the Jurassic Coast we start this challenge at the famous Portland Bill lighthouse and head east along the cost to finish at the stunning Lulworth cove. We walk along Portand touch on the magnificent Chesil Beach, pass through the hustle and bustle of Weymouth, walk along the golden sands of Weymouth Bay before climbing up onto the famous Jurassic Coast cliffs. We make our way through small coastal hamlets full of history and out on to the remote sea cliffs until we reach the impressive Durdle Door before descending down into Lulworth Cove.

What kit should participants bring?
This is an upland challenge so appropriate walking equipment is require including waterproof jacket and trousers, walking boots with ankle support and no jeans. . Full details of essential items will be provided in a kit list.
Who will be leading the activities?
We have a great team of experienced, enthusiastic and fully qualified Mountain Leaders who will look after participants throughout the challenge. They will be ultimately responsible for the running of the itinerary and the safety of the group and of course to ensure that everyone in the group has a great time.
Will meals be provided?
No, participants must being their own packed lunch and snacks.
How fit do participants need to be?
Participants do not need to have any hill walking experience to undertake this challenge but a reasonable level of fitness is required to give themselves the best opportunity to complete the route.
Do we need to book accommodation?
It is a long day for participants not used to hill walking so staying the night before or after the event can be a good idea. We can assist with booking accommodation and can help you get preferential rates with some local accommodation providers so please contact us for more details.
