Leaving Keswick behind us we soon climb up through woods to the highest point of the walk, commanding views over Derwent Water Water and Catbells.
It’s downhill from here to make our way to the shore and to the National Trust Centenary Stones.
Gently following the Lake shore we amble to Friars crag and then head back to Keswick for tea and cakes
