Keswick Bleaberry Fell Fell & Ashness Bridge

We make our way out of town and follow  the line of a stream through woods before heading into the fells for a first view point of Walla crag – not to be missed overlooking Derwent Water and Catbells.

We continue upwards to reach our high point of the day Bleaberry fell (590 m/ 1936 ft) for more stunning views.

We descend for a very short while the way we came up before heading towards the picturesque Ashness Bridge.  From here we descend into woods and then onto the lake shore, whivh we follow back to Keswick for tea and cakes or maybe beer and crisps.
